Do I need to be Unitarian Universalist to visit?
No. Visitors from many backgrounds, and no religious background, are welcome.
Do I need to believe in God?
No. UU spaces include theists, atheists, agnostics, humanists, mystics, and people still sorting it out.
What should I wear?
Wear what feels comfortable. There is no dress code.
Are LGBTQIA+ people welcome?
Yes. UUCF is a Welcoming Congregation, and LGBTQIA+ people and families are welcome here.
Are military families welcome?
Yes. Fayetteville is a military town, and UUCF welcomes military families and people moving in and out of the area.
Can I come alone?
Yes. Many people visit alone, and you are welcome to arrive quietly and settle in.
Are children welcome?
Yes. Current family and child-related details should be confirmed and updated by UUCF.
What happens during a service?
Services may include readings, music, reflection, discussion, joys and concerns, and community sharing.
Do I have to speak or participate?
No. Participate as much or as little as you are comfortable.
How do I get involved beyond Sunday?
Explore clubs, Community Café, gatherings and events, volunteering, workshops, and contact UUCF if you are not sure where to start.
